The long wait is over!
We are happy to formally announce that the SOCSKSARGEN Federation of Fishing and Allied Industries, Inc. (SFFAII) will be hosting the 22nd National Tuna Congress and Trade Exhibit this coming September 1-2, 2022 at 3rd Floor, SM Trade Halls, SM City General Santos, with a theme, “Philippine Tuna Industry: Braving through Rough Seas Toward a Better Tomorrow”.
Following the congress’ two-year delay brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s theme is a hopeful and living declaration of the fishing industry that despite of the difficulties we have encountered for the past two years, we will still stand strong and continue to brave these rough seas with you towards a better tomorrow.
Embracing the emerging new normal, the 22nd National Tuna Congress will be conducted in a blended format both onsite and virtual using zoom platform. The Congress will be gathering different industry players, government, and non-government agencies, experts, and leaders to discuss relevant strategies and best practices, market updates, pandemic coping mechanisms, solutions, and proven results.
With this, we are inviting you to be one of our DELEGATES in this congress. You may join the congress virtually or physically. For virtual participants within the Philippines, your Congress kit will be sent to you via courier. While those from outside Philippines, will receive links to download congress presentations, souvenir program and resolutions. Keeping true to our commitment to serve as the voice of the fishing industry in addressing timely and relevant concerns, we have selected topics of utmost importance and relevance to stakeholders in the 2-day Congress.
